Fair Use & Eligibility


  • The loyalty card is intended for genuine customers only.
  • Maximum earn limit: 150 litres and two transactions per day.
  • Rewards expire after 12 months of account inactivity.
  • The card is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Employees of Lion Park Truck Stop are not eligible to earn rewards.

Terms and Conditions (Summary)

By participating in the Lion Park Truck Stop Rewards Programme, you agree to the following:
  • The card is valid for ULP 95 petrol purchases only.
  • Cards must be registered before rewards can be earned or redeemed.
  • Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Lion Park Truck Stop reserves the right to amend or terminate the programme at any time.
  • Personal information is handled in compliance with POPIA and the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
  • In case of card loss or theft, customers must report it immediately to deactivate the card.

GENERAL 

By participating in the Rewards programme, you agree to read and understand these terms and conditions thoroughly. Any questions can be directed to Lion Park Truck Stop via email(adminlionpark@truckstop.co.za). 

The use of your Rewards card or account is subject to the latest version of these terms and conditions, published at website. If you do not accept these terms, you must immediately discontinue the use of the Rewards card. 

Lion Park Truck Stop (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to amend or terminate the Rewards programme at any time. Updates to the terms and conditions will be communicated via the website, and such changes will take effect on the specified date. Continued use of the Rewards card constitutes acceptance of the amended terms. In the event of programme termination, cash rewards will remain valid for redemption for 60 days from the termination date. 

You may opt out of the Rewards programme at any time by emailing Lion Park Truck Stop (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to deny, suspend, or terminate membership at its sole discretion, with or without notice. Membership may also be cancelled, and loyalty awards forfeited, in cases of abuse or fraudulent activity. 

The Rewards card cannot be used in conjunction with any other loyalty or benefit programme. 

These terms and conditions represent the entire agreement between you and Lion Park Truck Stop (Pty) Ltd concerning the Rewards programme. 

Lion Park Truck Stop (Pty) Ltd is not bound by any undertakings, representations, warranties, or promises not explicitly recorded in these terms. 

Variations of these terms and conditions will only be valid if documented in writing and agreed upon by Lion Park Truck Stop (Pty) Ltd 

Any leniency, time extensions, or concessions granted by Lion Park Truck Stop (Pty) Ltd will not constitute a waiver of its rights or an amendment to these terms and conditions. 

Lion Park Truck Stop (Pty) Ltd is not FAIS-accredited and, therefore, cannot manually deposit credit into your Rewards account. 


MARKETING INFORMATION 

By providing Lion Park Truck Stop (Pty) Ltd with your personal information and by opting into receiving communications from us, you permit Lion Park Truck Stop (Pty) Ltd to send you information regarding the Rewards programme and related marketing information via telephone, email, mail and physical delivery. 

You are free to opt out of Rewards communication at any time by updating your account via email(adminlionpark@truckstop.co.za). 


PERSONAL INFORMATION 

A valid ID and mobile phone number will be required to register for the rewards programme. 

The Rewards programme is subject to all peremptory provisions of the Consumer    Protection Act 68 of 2008 (as amended) (including any regulations framed thereunder) (“the Act”), which provisions are deemed to be incorporated by reference. 

The Rewards programme is subject to all peremptory provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) 

Your privacy is very important to Lion Park Truck Stop (Pty) Ltd, and it will make reasonable efforts to ensure that any information, including personal information, provided by you, or which is collected from you or third parties, is stored securely.

Your personal information collected by Lion Park Truck Stop (Pty) Ltd may be used for the following reasons: 

     To comply with statutory and regulatory requirements in respect of the storage and maintenance of documents and information. 

     To comply with valid requests for information, including subject access requests and requests in terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000. 

     To comply with information requests by regulators or bodies lawfully requesting the information (e.g. tax authorities or the South African Police Services); 

     For assessing client complaints. 

     For internal purposes such as training and monitoring. To assist in law enforcement and anti-money laundering, and counter-terrorist financing initiatives. 

By submitting your personal information to Lion Park Truck Stop (Pty) Ltd you give your consent to the processing (including storage) of such information by Lion Park Truck Stop (Pty) Ltd in terms of these Terms and Conditions and the Act, including your consent that such personal information may be transferred and held on servers outside South Africa. 

Lion Park Truck Stop (Pty) Ltd will ensure that the Rewards programme remains compliant with the Act. 

Remember that it is your responsibility to safeguard your ID number and mobile phone number profile details and ensure that it is not divulged to anybody else. In the event of someone else using your ID number and mobile phone number, username and password to make changes to your profile or transact on your behalf, you will be held responsible for the changes and the outcome thereof. 

You may be required to verify changes to your account through a one-time PIN. 

The Lion Park Truck Stop Rewards program is subject to all peremptory provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) 


EARNING LION PARK TRUCK STOP REWARDS 

Customers can obtain a card from service stations, subject to availability. 

To earn Rewards for transactions, the customer must present their Rewards card at the Lion Park Truck Stop at the time of payment. 

     2.1. If no Rewards card is presented at the point of sale before payment, Rewards will not be earned for the transaction. 

     2.2. Cards must be registered before they are eligible to earn Lion Park Truck Stop Rewards. 

Lion Park Truck Stop Rewards expires after a period of 12 months of account inactivity, during which the account has not been utilized for either earning or redeeming rewards. 

     3.1. When a Rewards account has been blocked for 12 months or longer, any available Rewards are forfeited or manually expired. 

The maximum fuel volume earning Rewards will be capped at 150 liters per day. 

The maximum number of transactions earning Rewards will be capped at 2 transactions per day. 

In the event that a customer cannot obtain his/her Lion Park Truck Stop Rewards due to a technical issue at the Lion Park Truck Stop, the customer can claim the outstanding rewards by emailing {adminlionpark@truckstop.co.za} and providing his/her receipt for any fuel purchase. 

Exclusions from shop earn, regardless of tier level: (Exclusive rewards to be used for ULP 95 at Lion Park Truck Stop only.) 

     7.1. Purchases of airtime and data bundles. 

     7.2. Tobacco products, including disposable vapes and heated products. 7.3. Car wash, car rentals, and car repairs.                        

     7.4. Cash withdrawals, including ATM and cashback transactions.                        

     7.5. Lottery tickets or gambling-related services.                        

     7.6. Purchases of any airtime vouchers and oil.                        

     7.7. Restaurant purchases.                        

     7.8. Ticketing services, including electricity top-ups and similar services. 


SPENDING LION PARK TRUCK STOP REWARDS 

Each customer who earns Rewards using their card will be allocated an Account in the Rewards programme. 

Rewards earned will accrue to this Account and will be available for spending after registration. 

Customers can use their physical Rewards card to redeem their Rewards value. 

The value in the Account cannot be spent without a card. 

Rewards can be redeemed on ULP 95 at Lion Park Truck Stop in South Africa 

Rewards cannot be redeemed as cash at any time, and there is no 'cash out' or 'cash back' facility. 

A Customer cannot transfer Rewards cards or any accrued value held therein to another person. 

Customers may not pay funds or other Value into the Account. There is no deposit facility on the Account. 


LOST AND STOLEN CARDS 

If a card is lost or stolen, it remains the responsibility of the customer to deactivate the card. 

If the funds in the Customer's Account have been redeemed at Lion Park truck Stop before the card is blocked, there can be no recovery of these funds for the customer. Lion Park Truck Stop cannot be held liable for loss of funds. 

Customers can replace a lost or stolen card with a new one that is available at Lion Park Truck Stop for R 15.00   


FAIR USE POLICY 

Rewards are intended to reward genuine customers of Lion Park Truck Stop. As such, any transaction or group of transactions that are deemed not to have originated from genuine sales or genuine customers may be excluded from earning Rewards. 

No person who is employed at Lion Park Truck Stop or related business may accept Rewards on behalf of a customer. 

Lion Park Truck Stop (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to limit the earnings of Rewards to one loyalty scheme per transaction. 


COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION 

We collect and process your Personal Information mainly to provide you with access to our services and products, to help us improve our offerings to you and for certain other purposes explained below. The type of information we collect will depend on the purpose for which it is collected and used. We will only collect information that we need for that purpose. 

We collect information directly from you when you provide us with your personal details, for example, when you register for the Rewards programme or when you submit enquiries to us or contact us. Where possible, we will inform you of what information you are required to provide us and what information is optional. 

Examples of information we collect from you are: 

     name 

     email address 

     telephone/cell number 

     user-generated content, posts and other content you submit to our website 

     transactional data 

We also collect information about you from other sources, as explained below. 

With your consent, we may also supplement the information that you provide to us with information we receive from other companies in the financial and retail industries to offer you more consistent and personalized experience in your interactions with Rewards.

Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Policy without your explicit consent. Any Policy changes will be posted on this page.
